Update since My Last Letter Saturday 4th September 2021
My Current Situation - From Emma Goode - To Miss D Ghosh
I sent you an email via your Secretary (Stephanie Lloyd)
on the 1st of August updating you on my current situation and the
problems I have been having.
I am still bleeding every day. I have been bleeding now
for 2 months straight. Some days the bleeding has been heavy and some days it
has been light. Sometimes it’s red blood and other times it is dark red blood.
I have noticed that when I go to the toilet for a pee and I am bleeding I get
excruciating stabbing pains afterwards in my abdomen, belly, groin and pelvic
and I end up resting in bed for the rest of the day. I have to take a Tramadol
to help ease the pain.
Both me and Stuart have noticed that I suffer great pain
just before I start bleeding and it continues on afterwards.
I am still suffering with pains all along the middle of
my abdomen, belly, and groin and pelvic. It is mainly worse in the morning when
I wake up and I have to take a Tramadol straightaway.
I suffer with pains while I am walking around the house.
I am using my crutch all the time again to help me get about.
When I have a good
day, I can do some jobs around the house e.g. the washing and the washing
up. But it puts me in excruciating pain
for days afterwards and I am bed bound with my hot water bottle.
The pain has been that bad lately that it makes me
tearful and I just want to breakdown into tears and cry.
There have been a couple of times where I have gone out
with my mother-in-law but we have to go to places where there are seating as I
cannot walk for so long.
My Tramadol intake is slowly going up again some days I
take 3 and other days it has been 4.
When me and Stuart has sexual intercourse I am in pain
soon after and I am again bed bound for a couple of days after in pain.
I still suffer excruciating stabbing pains before, during
and after having a bowel movement. It is also been happening when I need to
pee.
I sometimes been getting pains in my right side abdomen
and hip. But the pain has always been in the middle.
This past week I have been waking up again in the night
in excruciating pain. I’m having to wake Stuart up to do my hot water bottle
and to empty my pee jug.
Me and Stuart is still 100% convinced it is the Mirena
that causing me to have all of these pains and bleedings. I would still like
the Mirena to be removed as soon as possible. I would still like you to remove
the Mirena personally at your earliest convenience.
I will be sending this letter to both of these email
addresses: stephanielloyd@nhs.net
wah-tr.endometriosis@nhs.net
I hope you and your family is well.
Thank you for your co-operation
