This is a small part from my pain diary which I have kept since January last year. It has everything in it.
I talk about my day to day activities, which to be honest is not much as I am bed bound for most of the day.
I have written how my partner Stuart does things for me (e.g emptying my pee jug, doing my hot water bottle and bringing me foods and drinks up through out the day).
I have noted down how many Tramadol, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen I take in the day and what times I have taken them. I have also noted exactly where the pain is in my body and how bad the pain is.

Friday 1st October 2021
Woke up with stabbing pains all across my abdomen. My
partner emptied my pee jug and made me a cup of coffee. Took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol at 7.30am. I had to call the school to let them know John was not
going in due to being ill. I was in extreme pain everytime I walked and moved
about the house. I rested in bed. My partner did my hot water bottle.
Excruiating stabbing pains all across my abdomen and belly. I rested in bed all
morning. I went downstairs for a bit. My partner started playing with me but
had to stop as I was getting really sore in my abdomen, but he turned me on so
when I came back upstairs I masturbated and orgasmed which put me in
excruiating pain straight away. I had to take a Tramadol and Paracetamol
straight away at 12.45pm. I rested in bed all afternoon. I went downstairs when
my mother in law turned up with the shopping. My partner had to go for nap
after she left as he was so tired. I looked after my son which put me in really
bad excruiating pain all across my abdomen and belly. When my partner woke up
and came back downstairs, I came back up and rested in bed. I was bleeding a
bit with thick dead blood. I rested in bed all evening. My partner was bringing
me drinks and my dinner upstairs. I was in constant pain all evening. Took a
Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 7.10pm. My partner did my hot water
bottle. I felt fine for most of the night. I got ready for bed and my partner
did my hot water bottle at bedtime.
Saturday 2nd October 2021
Woke up with excruiating crippling stabbing pains all
across my abdomen, belly and groin. I got up to give my son some medicine to
help with his cough. My partner did my hot water bottle, emptied my pee jug and
made me a coffee. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 10.20am. I was in really
bad pain when I was having a bowel movement. I rested in bed all morning and
most of the afternoon and my partner was bringing me drinks and food up all the
time. I had a couple of little jobs to do in the attic which put me in
excruiating crippling stabbing pain all across my abdomen, belly and groin. I
had another bowel movement. I was in extreme pain everytime I was walking about
the house. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 4pm. I rested in
bed. My partner did my hot water bottle. I went downstairs to serve and eat my
dinner. I felt fine so I spent all night down there. I got ready for bed and my
partner did my hot water bottle.
Sunday 3rd October 2021
Woke up at 3.10am with stabbing pains all across my
abdomen. I was so tired that I tried to go back to sleep but every movement and
every position was making the pain worse and keeping me more awake. After an
hour I decided to take a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 4.10am. I woke my partner
up to do my hot water bottle and to empty my pee jug. I fell back to sleep at
6.15am. Woke up at 9.30am with excruiating crippling stabbing pains all across
my abdomen, belly and groin. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a
coffee. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 9.40am. I went through to the main
bedroom and sat watching my son open his birthday presents. I had a shower. I
went downstairs to get my son ready to go out with his nan this afternoon. I
stayed down there sitting on the sofa watching a programme with my partner. I
started to get really bad excruiating crippling stabbing pains all across my
abdomen and belly and I was bleeding a tiny bit. I came back upstairs and
rested in bed. My partner did my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol
and an Ibuprofen at 1.50pm. I rested in bed all afternoon. My partner was
bringing me drinks up all afternoon. I went downstairs when my son came back
home. I spent all night downstairs tidying up and sorting out stuff for the
morning. I started feeling sore just before bed. I was getting excruaiting
crippling stabbing pains as I was getting ready for bed. My partner did my hot water
bottle. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 9.35pm.
Monday 4th October 2021
Woke up feeling fine. My partner emptied my pee jug and
made me a coffee. I went downstairs to get my son ready for school. I had a
bowel movement. When my partner was taking my son to school, I hung the washing
up but soon after I started to get excruaiting crippling sabbing pains all
across my abdomen and belly. I went upstairs and rested in bed. Took a Tramadol
and Paracetamol at 9.05am. When my partner came back he did my hot water bottle
and made me a cup of nettle tea and a sandwich. Me and my partner had sexual
intercourse which put me in excruiating crippling stabbing pain all across my
abdomen and belly straight after. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 10.45am. I
rested in bed with my hot water bottle. My partner was bringing cups of teas. I
had a shower and got ready to go out later with my mother in law to celebrate
my sons birthday. When my son came home from school, I got him changed and
ready to go out. We went out to the Wacky Warehouse and had a meal. I started
feeling a bit sore and tender on the way back home. I spent all night
downstairs sorting out for the morning and tidying up from celebrating my sons
birthday. I did the washing and the washing up. I sat with my son and did his
homework with him. I started feeling sore and tender just before bed. I was
getting stabbing pains as I was getting ready for bed. My partner did my hot
water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 9.10pm.
Tuesday 5th October 2021
I woke up with excruiating crippling stabbing pains all
across my abdomen and belly. I also had a cold. My partner emptied my pee jug
and made me a cup of coffee. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 7.30am. Went
downstairs to get my son ready for school. I came back upstairs when my partner
and son left for school. I had stabbing pains in my abdomen while I was having
a bowel movement. I rested in bed. When my partner came back he did my hot
water bottle, made me a nettle tea and a sandwich. I had another bowel
movement. Excruaiting crippling stabbing pains all across my abdomen and belly.
It was very painful everytime I was walking and moving around the house. Took a
Tramadol and Paracetamol at 12pm. I rested in bed. I went downstairs when my
mother in law turned up and stayed down there when she and my partner went to
get my son from school. I came back up soon after they came back home to rest
in bed as I was starting to get sore and tender across my abdomen and belly. I
bathed my son tonight. Severe chronic crippling stabbing pains all across my
abdomen and belly as I was bathing my son and getting him rrady for bed. I got
ready for bed. My partner did my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol
and an Ibuprofen at 9pm.
Wednesday 6th October 2021
Woke up at 2am with excruiating crippling stabbing pains
all across my abdomen and belly but mainly in the middle and on the right side.
Woke my partner up to do my hot water bottle and to empty my pee jug. Took a
Tramadol and Paracetamol at 2.05am. I was so tired I fell asleep at 4.30am in
pain. Woke up at 7.25am in excruiating crippling stabbing pain all across my
abdomen and belly. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Took a
Tramadol and Paracetamol at 7.30am. Went downstairs to get my son ready for
school. I came back up to rest in bed when my son and my partner left for
school. When my partner came back he did my hot water bottle and made me a
nettle tea. I rested in bed all morning with my hot water bottle. I was in constant
excruaiting crippling stabbing pain. Both me and my partner agreed that the
reason I was suffering so much pain was because I was so active on Monday. Took
a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 11.45am. I had a nap in the afternoon. Woke up in
pain. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Went downstairs
waiting for my partner and son to come home from school. I came back up soon
after they came home. My partner did my hot water bottle and made me a cup of
tea. I rested in bed with my hot water bottle. I went downstairs to cook and
serve my sons dinner as my partner was having a nap. I sat with my son while
doing his homework. Excruaiting crippling stabbing pains coming in as I was
getting ready for bed. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen at 9pm. My
partner did my hot water bottle.
Thursday 7th October 2021
Woke up with excruiating crippling stabbing pains all
across my abomen and belly. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee.
Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 7.10am. Went downstairs to get my son ready
for school. I came back to rest in bed when my partner and son left for school.
When my partner came back he did my hot water bottle and made me a nettle tea
and a sandwich. I had stabbing pains in my abdomen while I was having a bowel
movement. I rested in bed all morning. I went downstairs for a bit. My partner
played with me and made me orgasmed. Excruaiting crioppling stabbing pains came
in staright away all across my abdomen and belly. I came back upstairs to rest
in bed. My partner did my hot water bottle and made me a cup of tea. Took a
Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 2.40pm. I went downstairs when my
partner and my son came home from school but I had to come back up soon after.
I rested in bed for most of the evening. I sat with my son while he was doing
his homework. I went downstairs to get things ready for the morning. I got
ready for bed. My partner did my hot water bottle. I felt fine all night.
Friday 8th October 2021
My partner woke me up in the early hours to help him with
my son as he was suffering with bad ear ache. After a couple of hours my son
finally fell back to sleep. I had stabbing pains in my abdomen while having a
bowel movement. I masturbated and orgasmed which put me excruaiting crippling stabbing
pain. I fell asleep straight after. Woke up with excruaiting crippling stabbing
pains all across my abdomen and belly. My partner did my hot water bottle,
emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at
10.30am. I had a bath. I gave our son his breakfast when my partner brought it
upstairs to us. I gave my son a bath. Went downstairs when my mother in law
turned up with the shopping and stayed down there to eat my dinner. I had
anotoher bowel movement. I rested in bed as I was suffering excruiating
crippling stabbing pains all across my abdomen and belly. Took a Tramadol,
Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 4.50pm. Went downstairs when my dad turned up
and spent the night resting on the sofa. I felt fine for most of the night but
I started to get stabbing pains in the middle of my abdomen, belly and C
section scar as I was getting myself and my son ready for bed. My partner did
my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 10.30pm.
Saturday 9th October 2021
Woke up with excruiating crippling stabbing pains and a
cold. My partner did my hot water bottle, emptiered my pee jug and made me a
coffee. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 10.40am. I rested in bed for ost of
the day. I went downstairs for a bit. I played with my son for abit. I started
to get stabbing pains in my abdomen. My partner went upstairs and got my
tablets for me. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 2pm. But I had to come back
up and rst in bed as I was suffering really bad. My partner did my hot water bottle.
I rested in bed all afternoon and all evening feeling fine. My partner did my
hot water bottle at bedtime.
Sunday 10th October 2021
Woke up with excruaiting crippling stabbing pains all
across my abdomen and belly. I had a bowel movement. My partner did my hot
water bottle, emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol at 10.05am. I rested in bed all morning with constant stabbing
pains in my right side abdomen. The pains got worse when I went downstairs for
a bit. As I was walking back up the stairs taking them one step at a time I was
uffering with excruaiting crippling stabbing pains all across my abdomen and
belly. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 3.20pm. My partner did
my hot water bottle and made me a cup of tea. I rested in bed all evening and
all ight feeling fine. My partner was bringing me drinks food up the whole
time. I was fine when I was getting myself and my son ready for bed. My partner
did my hot water bottle for bedtime.
Monday 11th October 2021
Woke up with excruaiting crippling stabbing pains all
across my abdomen and belly. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a
coffee. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 7.20am. I had a bowel movement. Went
downstairs to get my son ready for school. I had a shower and got ready to go
out with my partner to go to his mother in laws house. Constant stabbing pains
all across my abdomen and belly the whole time I was out. I rested on my mother
in laws bed. My partner did my hot water bottle and made me a coffee. I had a
bowel movement. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 11.20am. When we came home
me and my partner had sexual intercourse which put me excruaiting crippling
stabbing pain in my right side abdomen straight after. I took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol straightaway at 1.25pm. I rested in bed. My partner did my hot
water bottle and made me a cup of nettle tea. I went downstairs when my partner
and my son came home from school. I helped my partner prepare dinner. I severed
dinner and sat at the table to eat my dinner with my partner. I served my sons
dinner. I sat at the table with my son to do his homework. Soon after I started
to get stabbing pains all across my abdomen and belly so my partner told me to
go upstairs and rest in bed. My partner did my hot water bottle. I felt fine
later on in at night. I went downstairs to get things ready for the morning and
to get things ready for bed. I got myself ready for bed. I started to get
stabbing pains in my abdomen. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at
9pm. My partner did my hot water bottle.
Tuesday 12th October 2021
Woke up at 1.35am with excruaiting crippling stabbing
pains all across my abdomen and belly. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at
1.40am. Woke my partner up to do my hot water bottle and to empty my pee jug.
The pain was getting worse. I was struggling to move about in bed. When I stood to have a pee in my jug I had to
hold on to the side of the surface for support. The pain was so extremely
excruaitingly painful; all across my abdomen and belly. Took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol at 3.50am. I was finally able to fall asleep at 5am but I was
excruaiting pain. Woke up at 7.30am in pain. My partner emptied my pee jug and
made me a coffee. I went downstairs to get my son ready for school. While I was
down there the most excruaiting crippling stabbing pain came in all across my
adomen, belly, groin and C section scar. I got my partner to go upstairs and
get my tablets for me. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 8.15am. I came back
upstairs to rest in bed when my partner and my son left for school.When my
partner came home he did my hot water b ottle and made me a nettle tea. I
rested in bed all morning. I had a nap in the afternoon. I woke up with
excruaiting crippling stabbing pains all across my abdomen, belly, groin and C
section scar. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Took a
Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 4.20pm. My partner did my hot water
bottle. I rested in bed all evening. My partner was bringing me drinks and food
up all evening. I sat with my son to help with his homework. I was in
excruaiting crippling stabbing pain while I was getting ready for bed. My
partner did my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen at
9pm.
Wednesday 13th October 2021
Woke up at 2.05am with excruiating crippling stabbing
pains all across my abdomen and belly but mainly in my right side. Took a
Tramadol and Paracetamol at 2.15am. Woke my partner up to do my hot water
bottle and to empty my pee jug. I was extremely tired and I really wanted to go
to sleep. I tried to lie down and fall asleep with the pain in my right side
abdomen but the pain was so excruiaitngly painful and uncomfortable it was
keeping awake. I decided to take some more tablets. I ate 2 tiny cakes. Took a
Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 5am. I fell asleep at 5.15am. Woke up
at 7am. I had to get ready to go to my sons school for a meeting. My partner
emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. I went downstairs to get my son ready
for school. I went with my partner and my son to school. Me and my partner went
to the meeting. Just as we was leaving I was getting stabbing pains coming in
to my abdomen and belly. Walking back home I was suffering really bad
excruaiting crippling stabbing pains, we had to walk really slow on the way
home. When we got home I rested in bed. My partner had to go to town to get me
a new hot water bottle and some Paracetamols. I was suffering really bad
stabbing pains all across my abdomen. When my partner came back home from town
he did my hot water bottle and made me a cup of nettle tea. Took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol at 11.25am. I rested in bed. I had a nap in the afternoon. I woke
up with excruiaiting crippling stabbing pains all across my abdomen and belly.
My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. I went downstairs to see my
son for a bit as he was already home from school when I woke up. I couldn't
stay down there long as I suffering in so much pain. My partner did my hot
water bottle. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 4.20pm. I rested in bed all
evening. I sat with my son to help with his homework. I went downstairs to get
things ready for the morning. I got ready for bed. The whole time of being
downstairs and getting ready for bed I was constant stabbing pain in my right
side abdomen. I got my son ready for bed. My partner did my hot water bottle.
Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at 9.15pm.
Thursday 14th October 2021
Woke up with excruaiting crippling stabbing pains all across
my abdomen, belly, groin, pelvic and C section scar. Took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol at 7.10am. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. I
had stabbing pains in my abdomen while having a bowel movement. Went downstairs
to get my son ready for school. I sat at the computer to type up my statement
to UC. The whole time I was sitting there I was suffering excruiaitng crippling
stabbing pains. I came upstairs to rest in bed. My partner did my hot water
bottle and made me a nettle tea. Took a Tramadol and Paracetamol at 10.30am. I
rested in bed. I had a nap in the afternoon. Woke up with excruiaitng crippling
stabbing pains all acroos my abdomen and belly. My partner did my hot water
bottle, emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Took a Tramadol and
Paracetamol at 4.10pm. My partner started playing with me and I masturbated and
orgasmed which caused me to be in excruaitng stabbing pain in my right side
abdomen. I went downstairs to see my son but I had to come back up soon after
to rest in bed with my hot water bottle. I rested in bed all evening feeling
sore and tender. I got myself and my son ready for bed. I started to get really
bad stabbing pains in the middle and in the right side of my abdomen and belly.
My partner did my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an
Ibuprofen at 9.20pm.
Friday 15th October 2021
Woke up with stabbing pains slowly coming into my
abdomen. My partner emptied my pee jug and made me a coffee. Took a Tramadol
and Paracetamol at 7.30am. Went downstairs to get my son ready for school. I
felt fine for most of the day. I was able to get a couple of tiny jobs done.
But it all hit me this afternoon. I started going downhill fast with the most
excruaiting crippling stabbing pain ever all across my abdomen and belly from
all the standing, sitting and walking I did around the house today. The pain
was getting worse by the second. I had to quickly get into bed and rest. My
partner did my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and Ibuprofen at
2.20pm. I went downstairs when my mother in law turned up with the shop[ping
and stayed down when she and my partner went to get my son from school. Soon
after my mother in law left I cam upstairs to rest in bed. I went back
downstairs when my dad turned up and spent the night resting on the sofa with
my hot water bottle. I came up at bedtime and got ready for bed which put me in
excruaiting crippling stabbing pain all across my abdomen and belly. My partner
did my hot water bottle. Took a Tramadol, Paracetamol and an Ibuprofen at
10.15pm.
